Chaffin’s Barn was Nashville’s first professional theatre, opening March 27, 1967, and bringing the first live theatre tours from New York to the local area. We started with our Mainstage Theatre which is produced ‘In-the-Round’ on our elevator stage. In 1986, we added a second stage - the Backstage Theatre. Backstage is a smaller, more intimate proscenium venue, still offering the same delicious buffet and professional shows. The Mainstage theatre performs Tuesday through Saturday evenings with occasional Sunday Matinees and Thursday Senior Matinees. Our Backstage is now on a part time basis and is available for private groups and show dates will be announced as they become available.

Evenings: Buffet: 6 - 7:30pm/ Show: 8:00pm
Sundays: Buffet: 12:00 noon- 1:30pm/ Show: 2:00pm
Senior Matinees:No buffet: Open 11:00am/ Show: 12:00 noon
Children’s Matinees: (Dec. only): Open 10:00am/ Show 11:00am
