An acoustic writers’ night in Nashville is not a novel idea. However, for an established Nashville theatre institution running theatre shows for 45 years, a musical showcase is a significant step away from the norm. It also represents one of the only places on the west side of town to offer music by musicians and writers of such a high caliber. “You’d normally have to go downtown to hear artists like these showcase director Jaclyn Brown said. “We want to offer an even better opportunity to the west side of Nashville: a chance to hear some of our favorite performing songwriters do what they do best in a professional theatre and a classy, family-friendly environment.” The Barn Raisin’ Concert opens at 6:00 pm and begins at 7:00 p.m. Reservations at 646-9977 ext. 0.
