This hilarious, slapstick 1940’s farce takes place in a quaint English vicarage. The vicar's wife is a former actress and with a setup like that- vicar plus stage diva- can equal nothing BUT a mass of hi-jinks! Add to this four men dressed like priests (two who are imposters), the vicar's wife pretending to be married to one who's not her real husband, a bishop dressed in his pajamas, a nosy neighbor in the coat closet and a silent maid who are ALL being interrogated by a British army sergeant looking for an escaped POW. A classic case of mistaken identity as rumors and cassocks start to fly and the laughter takes off!
