Auditions

Chaffin’s Barn holds open auditions for all of our productions on both stages. Auditionees are required to provide two black and white 8x10 photographs and a resume at the audition. These become the property of Chaffin’s. Other stipulations for each audition may be requested by the director holding them. All such information is posted here as soon as received. Auditions are typically held three months in advance of a production, so it is advisable to check this page frequently.

All teen roles available including "Kim" & "Hugo"

The teen chorus will be internships.

They will receive hands on training and the a professional opportunity to be directed and choreographed by, perform w/ and learn from some of the areas best musical theatre performers.

We are looking for male and female performers.

Auditionees should prepare:

16 bars of a B'way type song

16 bars of a 1950's pop song

AND

a (1) minute comic monologue.

An accompanist will be provided.

Please bring SHEET MUSIC in the appropriate key

NO CHARTS, NO A CAPELLA, NO RECORDED ACCOMPANIMENT WILL BE ACCEPTED.

CALLBACKS WILL BE HELD THE FOLLOWING

SAT, APRIL 12 AT 10AM.

YOU MUST ATTEND THIS AUDITION TO BE CONSIDERED FOR A CALL BACK OR HAVE BEEN CALLED BACK PRIOR TO THESE APRIL 05 AUDITIONS.

BBB Rehearsal dates : JUNE 23- JULY 10 2008 -

ALL DAY TIME approx 9am - 4pm

BBB Run dates : JULY 10 thru AUGUST 23

Shows are Tues thru Sat evenings 7pm actor call, 8pm show

Additionally, there are:

(3) scheduled Thurs matinees July 17, 24 & 31 call 11am, show at 12pm

and (1) sunday matinee July 13 call 1pm, show at 2pm
